To find out how much profit you’ll net from the sell of your house; add up your closing costs and subtract them from the sales price.

Closing Costs for Sellers:

  • All Mortgage / Line of Credit payoffs and outstanding interest.
  • Prorations for your Real Estate Taxes.
  • Prorations for HOA / Condo Dues, and any other items paid in arrears.
  • Revenue Stamps. (sales price➗500 = RS)
  • Home inspections *optional (based on SF, approx $450 up).
  • Attorney’s fees / doc prep. (Approx. $550)
  • Brokerage commission. (Typically 6%)
  • Closing expense for buyer (this is negotiable).
